Pastoral Relations
The pastoral relations work of the presbytery provides oversight and resources to promote constructive and helpful relationships between remunerated specified ministry agents (both ordained and lay), and the congregations they minister with.
The responsible committee for such oversight in THP is the Pastoral Relations Committee (PRC). It deals with matters such as:
• ensuring relevant consultations with ministers and congregations are undertaken
• conferring with congregations and ministry agents when changes in placement of ministry agents occur
• assisting the Presbytery in its role to care and nurture faith communities
• dealing with complaints as set out in the Regulations of the UCA
